Green Tea Pure is our classic green tea creation. Take a sip and feel calm and refreshed at the same time. To create this blend, the Tea Masters source the finest green teas from the Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces of China. Known as the «Golden Triangle», this region is renowned for the quality of its teas. Our Tea Masters include a high-quality Chun Mee blend in the blend – this tea is harvested in early spring, when it has a more delicate, sweet flavour. Chun Mee translates to «precious brow», a name inspired by the curled appearance of the dried tea leaves.
Green tea has been enjoyed in China for over 5,000 years and is an essential part of the nation’s culture. Unlike black tea, green tea is generally not allowed to oxidize, so it retains its fresh color and unique flavors. We recommend brewing the tea in hot water at around 80 to 85°C, so that the natural flavor of the tea is preserved without any bitterness. To achieve the right temperature, simply pour freshly boiled water into the cup and let it steep for two to three minutes before adding the tea bag.
Green tea has a calming, cleansing effect that refreshes the senses and palate, so it is especially beneficial after eating.
